„If one day I die...“
Tito often mentioned this phrase in his speeches, a phrase that is undoubtedly ambiguous and that could probably be applied to every authoritative regime. The aim of this installation is to confront the observer with the question of individual and collective meaning of death. It explores existential, social and institutional transience (the passing of a person, a collective or a state) as well the meaning of what is left behind: the soil and earth of the territory. This particular association implicates thousands of young people who packed their suitcases and left their country in the post-Tito era.
